FACILITIES | Oak Tree Community Centre

The Oak Tree Community Centre provides ideal spaces for training, seminars/conferences, private functions, parties, weddings, baby showers, funerals, birthday parties, corporate and community events and other activities.

There are a range of rooms available as well as IT training facilities and sport facilities suitable for both business and community use. The building is fully accessible with wheelchair access, lift, disabled toilets, and baby change facilities providing high quality service at affordable prices.

Our rooms are available to hire 8.00am – 10.00pm seven days a week and all bookings are supported by our friendly in-house team.

Flipcharts, stationery and wireless internet connection are a complimentary service available in all our meeting and training rooms. Refreshments of tea, coffee, water and fruit cordials can be provided for an additional £5 per booking.

Lightmoor Hall

Capacity: 80 people
Pricing: £11.00-£24.00 per hour

The Lightmoor Hall is a bright and welcoming space suitable for a wide variety of uses, ideal for large meetings and exhibitions as well as fitness and sports classes, birthday parties and family celebrations. Private party bookings include 30 minutes either side of the booking for set up and take down, free of charge. We will add this to your booking for you.
Lightmoor Village residents can take advantage of discounted rates for private parties. We will reduce this for you on approving your booking.

In term time the Hall is available weekday evenings from 5pm and all day throughout the weekend. During school holidays the Hall is available to hire daytime and evening.

The Acorn Room and IT Training Suite is equipped with 12 desktop computers with broadband connection and a range of software packages. The room also has an LCD projector, smartboard, presentation screen and audio equipment.

The Oak meeting room is a large versatile room, ideal for business meetings, small conferences and events, seminars, teaching and workshops.
It’s equipped with a projector, large presentation TV screen and a laptop is available to use. Tea/coffee and water are provided free of charge.

Football Pitch

Oak Tree Community Centre has a full sized maintained football pitch available for hire for both adult and junior teams. The pitch can be hired on its own or with access to excellent changing room facilities.

The football pitch is situated in the heart of Lightmoor Village and the attractive surrounding of Woodlands Park.

We are keen to promote football for all ages and offer an excellent hire rate for football within the community.

Available for hire throughout the week, weekend and school holidays.

We are able to take one-off or block bookings for the football pitch.

MUGA

The Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) is situated near the football pitch looking out over Woodlands Park. The area can be floodlit for evening practice and games.

The MUGA is available for hire for a variety of different sporting activities, including football, netball and hockey.

Available for hire throughout the week, weekend and school holidays. The MUGA can be hired on its own or with access to the changing room facilities. We are able to take one-off or block bookings for the MUGA.
